Our career started with architectural concrete applications in the US. We discovered Venetian Plaster products over 15 years ago. After developing application techniques on several major resort projects there, we acquired the distribution rights for Mexico, and headquartered our company in Mexico. Baja Finishes carries 3 varieties of Venetian Plaster - Veneciano (soft satin or polished) Marmorino (rough stucco or soft sandstone) and Tuscano (for outdoor applications). Our plasters use the finest genuine crushed marble, aged lime (calcium oxide) and natural pigments. They will bond to any existing painted surfaces, conventional primed drywall, mineral substrates, such as cement stuccos, and a variety of mineral-based building material.
Venetian Plaster has numerous advantages, most importantly that it is more durable than regular plaster. It is a "GREEN" product; the plaster breathes, absorbing carbon dioxide, while resisting mold & mildew. Air quality will actually improve, with the installation of Venetian Plaster to a room.
