Venetian Plaster - Green Product
Our natural Venetian Plaster product is composed of finely-crushed genuine marble, aged lime, and natural pigments. It is not a faux finish. It contains no synthetic components, acrylic resins, or solvents. Because Venetian Plaster is made without volatile organic compounds (VOC's), it is naturally non-toxic and free of chemicals. Venetian Plaster is the original GREEN product, the plaster breathes. This is why it neither molds, nor mildews, and actually absorbs carbon dioxide from the air, giving your property a healthier environment naturally. The plaster bonds any existing painted surface, conventional primed drywall, mineral substrates, such as cement stuccos, and a variety of mineral-based building materials. Naturally high in pH, lime-based Venetian Plasters act as an anti-bacterial surface, neutralizing the development on organic material of such things as mold and fungus. Our plasters allow water vapor to permeate freely so moisture evaporates quickly, unlike other acrylic finishes which can trap moisture inside a wall.
